Blue China Watercolor Series

Last fall I challenged myself to a mini series. I love commissioned work. Partly because someone is giving me the content to paint, partly because it's a collaboration to make their vision come to life, and partly because I get to take their idea and put my own touch on it.

But every now and then I get an itch to let my creative spirit fly without any guidelines or perimeters that are given to me. And that's exactly what happened when my love for blue china met my love for flowers.

These four paintings have quickly become a few of my favorites. The originals are tucked away in my own home, but maybe one day you will see them offered as prints!
