South Carolina Live Wedding Painting

My first live wedding painting of the season was a beautiful wedding, set on top of a rolling hill in Union, South Carolina. The hills were vibrant with different hues of green that I couldn't wait to paint.
As I worked on painting in the background of the ceremony as guests arrived, the sky opened up and poured down rain just minutes before the bride was planning on walking down the aisle. The beautiful outdoor ceremony was quickly changed to an intimate indoor ceremony, with lights strung and large barn doors open overlooking the original ceremony scene. It was just as stunning as any plan A.
The rain let up to a gentle backdrop as the bride and groom exchanged vows. It may not have been what this couple planned, but it was every bit as magical! What an honor it was to capture this special moment.
